Board member and Finance Director of Sanyuka Child Care Ministries Uganda. Ivan provides over sight to the Management team of Sanyuka Child Care Ministries Uganda. He has a passion and zeal to equip and empower children to their full potential so as to better their chances at a brighter and fulfilling future.
Ivan is a full-time employee in one of the big brands in the banking industry in Uganda. He manages a retail business unit for the institution which entails overseeing business growth and risk management of its operations. He is a seasoned Banker with over ten diverse years of experience in Business development, Operational risk management, financial relationship management and Human capital management.
Ivan obtained a University degree in regional and spatial planning from Makerere University in 2007 and is currently pursuing a Masters degree in Business Administration at Makerere University.
Maria is an administrator at the Sanyuka Child Care Ministries. She has extensive experience in administration, finance, child related projects and trauma care counseling.
As an administrator, Namazzi Maria provides strategic policy formulation and implementation, actively establishes and grows partnerships with other governmental agencies and non-governmental organizations, content development for our social media platforms, and activity reporting.
Maria brings more than 5 years of administration, finance and management experience that includes financial reporting, management team member, brainstorming abilities, and experience in child related projects and trauma counseling.
Winifred Kans is a Programs Director at Sanyuka Child Care Ministries and an Administrator with a strong background in accounting and finance.
She is a self-driven, motivated, proactive and result oriented person, willing to learn and apply new ideas, with high professional integrity and leadership skills.
She ensures efficiency in the daily operations of Sanyuka Child Care Ministries in Uganda, superb children’s welfare, education, spiritual, social and emotional well-being of the children as well as good accountability for the resources received to run the organization. She is passionate about helping the needy, and her generosity surpasses her demeanor.
Proscovia Naluyima Sewankambo is an entrepreneur, life coach, blogger, children and women’s rights advocate and is domiciled in Kampala, Uganda with her husband and 2 children.
She holds a law degree (LLB) from Nelson Mandela University in Port Elizabeth, South Africa. When she is not conducting youth and women empowerment workshops she spends her time taking care of her children as a stay home mum. She loves travelling, reading and writing.
Proscovia is currently working with 7 schools in and around Kampala on youth empowerment program, sex education with a focus on teenage pregnancy and general body hygiene. The youth also received an insight into goal setting and finding their niches. At the end of two-year program all the schools recorded a significant drop in their adolescent pregnancy rates.
Proscovia’s passion for working with Sanyuka Children’s ministry stems from the fact that she herself grew up in an orphanage from the age of 9 years. She is still an active alumni of this home and often talks to the current crop about goal setting and career guidance.
Victoria is a Program Officer for Sanyuka Child Care Ministries. To keep track of children’s transformation and in-line with Sanyuka’s mandate, her areas of concern are monitoring, documenting and reporting child development. Victoria is results driven and passionate about making a difference in the lives of underprivileged children.
She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Population Studies and a Diploma in Financial Services & Business Computing. She has undergone training in Project Planning & Management, Human Rights Monitoring, Documentation & Reporting.
She previously worked with a national umbrella human rights Organization “HURINET-U” under the Monitoring and Evaluation unit during which time she demonstrated her skills and commitment in the establishment of the unit.
Rich Millisor, Vice Chairman and Board Member of Sanyuka Children’s Ministries, helped establish Sanyuka as a U.S. 501(c)(3) charitable organization in 2014 to support the work of Sanyuka Child Ministries in Uganda. Rich has a strong passion for education accessibility and is privileged to work closely with the Uganda and U.S. leadership teams to raise awareness and advance the mission of Sanyuka, while providing an avenue for partners in the U.S. to also enjoy the privilege of serving the children of Uganda. In addition to his work with Sanyuka Children’s Ministries, Rich serves as a Board Member of the Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy, a private college preparatory high school located in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. Rich is an active member of Grace Church in Medina, Ohio. Rich’s family, including wife, Lisa, and daughter, Arden, are also actively engaged in supporting Sanyuka.
Rich works full-time as a partner of Fisher Phillips, a national labor and employment law firm. Rich is "AV" Peer Review Rated by Martindale-Hubbell and has been listed in Chambers USA: America's Leading Lawyers for Business, since 2007, and recognized by Best Lawyers in America since 2010. Rich completed his undergraduate education abroad at the University of St. Andrews (Scotland), where he obtained an M.A. Honors degree in 1987. He obtained his Juris Doctorate from the University of Colorado, School of Law in 1990.
Joe Olszak is the Chief Operating Officer of The Townsend Group and a member of the firm’s Management Committee. Townsend is one of the largest real estate advisory and private equity firms globally. Mr. Olszak is responsible for the firm’s legal, financial, human resource, technology and operational teams. In this role, Mr. Olszak ensures that all of Townsend’s resources are best aligned to support its investment and client servicing teams’ goal of delivering world class investment solutions to our clients.
Prior to joining The Townsend Group in 2008, Mr. Olszak was a Managing Director for Allegiant Asset Management, a $30 billion institutional investment manager. His responsibilities included oversight of Finance, Fund Administration, Technology, and Legal as well as Product Development and firm Strategic Planning. Prior to Allegiant Mr. Olszak held positions with Federated Investors and Montauk Energy Capital structuring energy-related private equity investments and acquiring investment management platforms.
Mr. Olszak received an MBA from The Katz School at the University of Pittsburgh and BS from Drexel University.
Melissa Dials, Secretary and Board Member of Sanyuka Children Ministries, is committed to helping vulnerable children overcome adversity and reach their full God-given potential. Melissa strongly believes that the best way to do this is through education, vocational training, and community-based initiatives. Prior to joining the Sanyuka team, Melissa had the privilege of working with orphaned and vulnerable children in South Africa and Ethiopia. Melissa also volunteers within the Cleveland public schools and is a Board Member of Transracial Journeys, an educational organization designed to support and educate children and parents in families with transracially adopted children.
Melissa is an attorney with the national employment and labor law firm Fisher Phillips LLP. Prior to joining Fisher Phillips, Melissa was Corporate Counsel and Compliance and Ethics Officer for a multi-national, publicly-traded company. Melissa also served on the Board of the South African company’s Social and Ethics Committee, where she oversaw compliance with international standards of conduct such as the OECD Anti-Bribery Convention. Melissa brings to the Sanyuka Board her broad compliance experience and passion for “doing the right thing.”
Melissa’s family is involved with supporting Sanyuka, including her husband Pete, a fellow Board Member, and young daughter who is adopted from Ethiopia.
Peter Dials, Board Member of Sanyuka Children Ministries, is passionate about restoring young lives through education and the love and support of a family. Pete holds a B.A. in Fine Art from Ohio State University and a degree in Graphic Design from the University of Akron. Pete uses this creative background to help raise awareness regarding Sanyuka’s children and special projects. Pete is committed to fighting stereotypes in aid and development and strives to show the humanity and dignity of the Sanyuka children in his work.
In his free time, Pete enjoys painting and traveling with his wife, Melissa, and daughter, Malia.
Nate Mast serves as Treasurer and Board Member for Sanyuka Children Ministries, having been involved with serving and supporting the ministry since 2014. Nate has a passion for international children’s ministry and is devoted to supporting the Sanyuka children through his work on the annual Sanyuka Fundraiser committee.
Nate works closely with both the U.S. and Ugandan based leadership teams to develop support, understanding, and awareness of the ongoing needs for education, housing, food, and spiritual development for the Sanyuka children. Nate is an active member of Grace Church-Medina East Campus. Nate’s wife, Cindy, and his four boys share his passion for the Sanyuka Children’s Ministry and actively support his work with their time and joining him in travels to Uganda.
Nate has a broad background in healthcare development and operations and currently the Chief Executive Officer of Generations Behavioral Health an inpatient behavioral health hospital located in Youngstown, OH. Nate completed his undergraduate studies at Bowling Green State University and his Juris Doctorate from the University of Akron School of Law.
Stephen Cullen has been a family physician in Medina County for 16 years. He is the medical director of Oasis of Hope Pregnancy and Parenting Center in Medina County. He is married to Laura Cullen and is a father to three children, a biological daughter, an adopted son from South Korea and an adopted daughter from China. He has served on medical missions trips to Africa and Nicaragua. He is committed to the care of orphans in Uganda by serving on the board of Sanyuka Children Ministries.
Laura Cullen holds a degree in Nursing and specializes in the care of newborns. She coordinates and teaches classes at Oasis of Hope Pregnancy and Parenting Center in Medina, Ohio. She is married to Stephen Cullen and is the mother of three children, a biological daughter, a son adopted from South Korea and a daughter adopted from China. She is passionate about orphan care and adoption. “Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress.” James 1:27

Matthew Noethen, Board Member and Finance Director of Sanyuka Children Ministries, and established volunteer beginning 2015. Matt is passionate about childhood development and education and is privileged to work closely with the US Leadership teams to help fund and advance the mission of Sanyuka. In addition to his work with Sanyuka, Matt is an active member of Grace Church in Medina, OH.
Matt has an extensive background in finance and accounting. Currently he works in the accounting software industry for Yardi Systems, where he is employed full time as a Technical Account Manager and Implementation Specialist. Prior to Yardi he worked in the Risk Management and Finance field for 10+ years with Veroot, AIG, and Citigroup. Matt completed both his undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of Toledo, where he received a BA and MBA both specializing in Finance.
His family includes wife and fellow Board Member, Stefanie Noethen, sons, Trynter and Reece, and daughter, Ruby.
Stefanie Noethen, Board Member of Sanyuka Children Ministries, and established volunteer beginning 2015. Stefanie is passionate about developing authentic relationships and seeing the Gospel spread and understood across the globe.
Stefanie has an extensive employment background in finance and banking but her attention to creative detail is what led her to establish a wedding and event planning business in 2011. She is an active member of Grace Church of Greater Akron where she recently accepted a part-time role as Advancement Coordinator.
Her family includes husband and fellow Board Member, Matthew Noethen, sons, Trynter and Reece, and daughter, Ruby.
