Proscovia Naluyima Sewankambo is an entrepreneur, life coach, blogger, children and women’s rights advocate and is domiciled in Kampala, Uganda with her husband and 2 children.
She holds a law degree (LLB) from Nelson Mandela University in Port Elizabeth, South Africa. When she is not conducting youth and women empowerment workshops she spends her time taking care of her children as a stay home mum. She loves travelling, reading and writing.
Proscovia is currently working with 7 schools in and around Kampala on youth empowerment program, sex education with a focus on teenage pregnancy and general body hygiene. The youth also received an insight into goal setting and finding their niches. At the end of two-year program all the schools recorded a significant drop in their adolescent pregnancy rates.
Proscovia’s passion for working with Sanyuka Children’s ministry stems from the fact that she herself grew up in an orphanage from the age of 9 years. She is still an active alumni of this home and often talks to the current crop about goal setting and career guidance.
